My interest in cars was passed down to me from both grandfathers and father. My grandfathers were both mechanics, one owning a Hudson dealership. My father owned and operated his own bodyshop, now retired he builds streetrods and customs. When I was 13 we began building a 1934 Ford 3-window coupe with a chopped top and a mustang independent front and a 9 inch rearend and a Chevy smallblock for power. My first car was a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport 340 with factory sunroof and air. With the help of my dad I restored it to 1973 Mack Truck Orange. Cause it was the brightest color I could find! My next car was a 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger which I bought back in 1993. I married in 1995, moved to IL in 1996, and then moved back again to ND in 2000. I had a son, Walter in 2001 and a daughter Aurie in 2003. I started a complete restoration 4 years ago but it is a work in progress as you can see from the pictures. The 318 was pulled in favor of a 340 which has now given up its home for a 440. I have completed the bodywork and hope to finish it soon. Will keep you posted on my progress!
